Welcome to GoTodo, your simple and effective task management tool! Whether you're managing personal tasks, client projects, or both, GoTodo helps you stay organized and on top of your work. Here's a quick guide to get you started.

Set Up Your First Space

A Space in GoTodo is where all your task lists, docs, flow, and reminders live. To get started:

  1. Click on the + New Space button.

  2. You can Create from Scratch or use a pre-made template to get started fast.

  3. If you are creating from scratch, enter a name for your Space (e.g., "Work Projects" or "Personal Tasks"), Select a theme and Click Done to finalize.

Set Up Your First List

Now that your Space is set up, it's time to organize your tasks into Lists.

  1. Navigate to the Lists section on the sidebar.

  2. Click on + New List.

  3. Enter a name for your List (e.g., "To-Do", "Work Tasks", "Shopping").

  4. Select a template from the available options or leave it as the default. Additionally, you can create a custom template for each list by going to Settings > Custom Templates.

  5. Click on Done. Your list is now created!

Add Your First Task

To start adding tasks to your List:

  1. Open the List you just created.

  2. Click on + New Task.

  3. Enter a task name (e.g., "Finish project proposal").

  4. Add details such as due date, priority, or tags (optional).

  5. Click Done to add the task to the List.

  6. You can also quickly create a task by clicking + Quick Task, entering the task name, and pressing Enter.

Break Down Large Tasks

Smaller tasks are much easier to tackle than bigger ones. Break down large goals into manageable steps to make progress more achievable.

To create a sub-task, select a task and create a "New Sub-task" under the Sub-tasks section.

You can also create nested subtasks, adding subtasks within other subtasks for deeper levels of organization.

Plan for the Future

View all tasks that are due today, upcoming, or past due in the Summary Dashboard.

Customize each of your lists with unique templates. Simply edit your lists and select a template that best aligns with your needs.

Create custom templates with specific categories, statuses, priorities and custom fields to match your workflow. Whether you need templates for work, home, or a specific project, we offer 15+ pre-made options to help you get started. You can also craft your own custom templates in Settings > Custom Templates.

Track and Celebrate Your Progress

View your accomplishments and reflect on your progress in the Summary Dashboard.
